AC1 Lyle Hodges (163160) was born at Mt Elliott Qld on July 11, 1912 enlisted in the RAAF at Sydney 2RC on April 24, 1944.

While on leave from Mildura in his home town of Bathurst, NSW Lyle became ill and was admitted to No.3 RAAF Hospital on February 18, 1945 and was diagnosed carcinoma of the Stomach. His condidtion progressively became worse, and died on March 28, 1945.

AC1 Lyle Hodges aged 32 is buried in the Rookwood War Cemetery in Auburn NSW on March 29, 1945.
