Russel Crow (409818)Flying Officer

    Crow was born at Williamstown 24 April 1922 and attended Scotch College 1935-37.

    When the war broke out and after serving in the army Crow enlisted in the RAAF Aircrew on the 10th of October 1941. He was presented with his wings by the Governor General Lord Gowrie. Crow was then Posted to Mildura.

    On the 26th of November 1943, Crow was low flying in a Kittyhawk A29 – 80 when he struck a tree in Merinee. Sadly, he was killed instantly.
