Explore Mildura’s historic link to The Royal Australian Air Force.
The RAAF Air Museum is situated at the Mildura Airport.
It is hard to imagine that this site was once responsible for providing operational fighter conversion and training to pilots before they were posted to their squadrons during World War II.
Around 1,247 pilots were successfully trained at 2OTU and sadly 52 Aircrew and 7 Ground Crew were involved in fatal accidents while training or serving at the unit.
